Alynne R. (Jonnie) Nesslein
Alynne R. (Jonnie) Nesslein, age 69, of 52 Main St., Laceyville, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at her home in Laceyville, Pa. on Thursday morning, Nov. 15, 2012.
She was born in Silvara, Pa. on Feb. 6, 1943, a daughter of the late Kermit and Eloise Brotzman Nesslein. Growing up in New Jersey, Jonnie was a graduate of the Midland Park High School, in Midland Park, N.J. where she was a member of the graduating Class of 1961.
Jonnie was a Customer Service Representative for Paper Mills throughout North Carolina and later in Connecticut. After retiring, Jonnie, moved back to her hometown, in Laceyville. She was always an active part of her family, enjoying family get-togethers. She was always interested in the lives of her nieces and nephews and their families. Jonnie always loved to come back to her parents home, in Silvara, where she became very active with the Silvara Ladies Aide Society, and other community functions, after moving back home.
Surviving are her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Also surviving is her brother-in-law, James Profitt of Silvara, PA. and a sister-in-law, Kathy Nesslein, of Laceyville, Pa. and her aunt, Mrs. Thelma Brotzman, of Silvara, Pa., and several cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Profitt who passed away in Sept. 1993; and her brothers Michael Nesslein who passed away in Jan. 1996 and David Nesslein who passed away in Sept. 1996.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, Pa. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at a later date in the Quimby Cemetery, in Silvara. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to the Silvara Ladies Aide Society, C/O Mrs. Betty Spencer, 3076 Underhill Rd., Laceyville, PA 18623.
